Nestled in the picturesque, and malaria free Rhenosterhoek valley (just off Long Tom Pass R37 – between Lydenburg and Sabie – 45 km from Nelspruit). Gunyatoo is ideally positioned for access to most of the tourist attractions that Mpumalanga has to offer.
The Lodge, surrounded by pine forests, offers luxurious yet affordable accommodation. Lodge guests can book either Dinner Bed & Breakfast or Self Catering options. Rooms are all en-suite with private patios offering stunning views – just the perfect spot for that early morning cuppa! A variety of fully equipped (2 to 10 Sleeper) – Self Catering Cottages are available. This venue, a nature lover's paradise, is the perfect getaway not only for the eager Flyfishing enthusiast but ideal for those on a Romantic Tryst or just Family & Friends finding the perfect Holiday spot. The farm has 2 stocked trout dams and offers stream fishing for the keen Fly-Fisherman. Rainbows are regularly stocked but the avid Fisherman may be lucky & snag a "Wild Brown"!
For the more enthusiastic tourists there is an abundance of activities in the area – including Quad Bike Tours, Horse Riding, Golfing & Bird watching & Hiking. Tobogganing or even an invigorating Scooter ride is only a stone's throw away – and that's only the start of things on the Panorama Route
